I'm a designer with a mix and matchable home goods line. 2024 is the year of the living room, so my offerings span from machine washable knit blankets made out of 100% cotton, handmade tufted New Zealand wool rugs, hand tufted pillow cases, mix and matchable art prints (ranging from tiny pieces that are 8" x 8" to larger prints like 24" x 36"), colorful lavender sachets, and even statement vases and coasters which are coming mid-summer 2024.
In terms of my process, I design and prototype every product by hand and then work with small businesses to develop the market-ready goods. This helps me focus on designing a broader collection of mix and matchable goods while maintaining a high quality across my offerings, as I partner with people who are the experts on their specific craft (i.e. knit blankets, rugs, etc). For some of my offerings like pillowcases and lavender sachets, I design the fabric and sew the final product. Regardless, whenever possible I keep production within the US. Currently the only product I offer that is made outside the US is the hand tufted area rugs, and those are made in small batches of 24 and support women-owned businesses in India.
